Sialkot has been shaping surgical steel since the 1890s. Yasira has spent 25 of those years refining the craft — and sending it to 50+ countries.
Our Story
A workshop that never stopped being a workshop.
In 2000, three craftspeople opened a forge in Ugoki, Sialkot — about an hour's drive from the Pakistan–India border. Their first year's output was a single pattern: Mayo-Hegar needle holders.
Twenty-five years later, the same forge sits within a 42,000 sq.ft. facility. We still make Mayo-Hegars — along with 2,267 other instruments across general surgery, orthopedic, ophthalmic, dental, plastic, and micro specialties.
What's stayed the same: every instrument passes a craftsperson's inspection before it leaves the building. What's changed: we now ship DDP to hospitals in Hamburg, Barcelona, Singapore, and Sao Paulo — with the same paperwork and the same tolerances as the OEMs in Tuttlingen.

For 25 years, Yasira has forged the instruments that sit in the hands of surgeons across four continents. Sialkot's craft was first imported from Solingen a century ago — we've spent a quarter of it refining our share of that inheritance.
